Durapolin tarpaulins are made from UV treated virgin grade HDPE, and are known for their extreme durability and ability to withstand harsh climatic conditions. UV stabilized virgin LDPE coating makes them highly resistant to ultraviolet radiation. One side of the tarpaulin has a silver colour to make it heat reflective, while the other side has a green or blue shade to make it pleasant to the eye.
The joints are fused through thermal sealing, and the borders are hemmed with 0.75mm PE /PP reinforced ropes. Aluminium eyelets are fixed at the corners and at approximately one-meter intervals along the borders. The tarpaulins are available in thicknesses of 150gsm and 200gsm, and in sizes 30ft x 20ft and 30ft x 30ft.
Durapolin pond lining sheets are made from 100% virgin grade high strength HDPE granules, and are treated for UV stabilization. The linings have a thickness of 430gsm, and are made up of two layers of woven fabric having a weaving mesh of 14x14 /inch, with a 60-micron sandwich coating using 100% virgin grade LDPE granules between the two layers. Each side of the lining gets an additional 55-micron coating. The panels are thermally fused, making the linings totally leak-proof. Durapolin pond lining sheets effectively arrest seepage and percolation of water into the subsoil.
